A clean, peaceful place.

The breakfast was generous and tasty, and the rooms had plenty of space with comfortable beds. Set in a historic atmosphere, Le relais de Nozieux carries on the sense of stepping back in time from visiting the nearby chateaux of Blois and Chambord. It's conveniently placed between Blois and Chambord, with some very good restaurants nearby. A warm welcome, too. I'll keep this address in mind for another visit.

We slept well in the comfortable beds, and the two large bedrooms on the second floor were in a pleasant, quiet setting. The welcome was warm. The stairs are steep and dimly lit, so I wouldn't recommend the room to older guests or anyone with mobility difficulties. There's no TV, and Wi-Fi only works downstairs, with no signal upstairs. Breakfast was good, but very basic, the same sort of thing we make at home.

The owner is really friendly and happy to share local tourist information. It's a very welcoming, elegant relais. I recommend it.

The rooms feel new, with attractive wooden furniture and nice decor.
