The views of Saint-Claude from the rooms are lovely, and the heating and beds were both excellent. The room style is a bit old, but pleasant, with what you need. There’s a big table, about two metres wide, a good bathroom and free parking. There’s always someone on staff who speaks English, though the coffee machine is the only thing else in the hotel with English on it. Keep in mind that you have to climb eight steps from the entrance to reach the elevator, whatever room you’re in. There’s also nowhere in the rooms to hang clothes to dry.

The staff really made the stay for me. They’re so friendly and helpful, and the way they talk with guests makes it feel more like staying in a chambré d'autres than in a hotel. The rooms are small and cozy, with a nice view over the town and everything you need.

It’s an older place and the rooms are quite small, but everything was clean. The meals were very good at any time of day.

Really nice hotel, with comfortable beds and a good restaurant. Try the hamburgers, one is a meal on its own.
