Les Cycas

Hélène was always welcoming, smiling, and ready to answer our questions. We loved our three weeks at Les Cycas as a couple, and would happily come back. It’s peaceful and well placed for some of Guadeloupe’s best hiking trails. The accommodation had everything we needed and was comfortable, especially for unwinding after a day out exploring.

We stayed as a group and found everything we needed. The accommodation was well cared for, and the owners were attentive throughout. Les Cycas has a lovely green setting, with plenty of lush grounds where it’s easy to relax.

The park is full of lush greenery, with wonderful cycads, right at the foot of La Soufrière volcano. Hélène and her husband made us feel welcome and were easy to talk to. They really tried to sort out the little problems that came up, and paid close attention to making sure guests were happy. We left with lovely memories.

The chalets are spacious and very comfortable, and the park around them is fantastic, full of Guadeloupe’s flora and fauna. We even spotted large lizards and a raccoon. It’s also well laid out and close to Saint Claude, the Soufriere volcano, waterfalls, and hot springs, so it’s a handy base for visiting. Over two weeks and six rentals in Guadeloupe, this was the best one. The hosts were great, and we’ll only stay here next time. Many thanks to them for making it such a unique experience.
