We were the only guests, a group visiting from Canada, and the hosts made the stay feel like a special experience. There’s a pleasant sitting area, with beer and juice available to buy. Each room has a kettle and heated towel racks. At the entrance, you leave wet hiking shoes, and the host dries them overnight. The food was excellent.

Cintia cooked an excellent dinner, and the house itself is lovely. We also appreciated the little lounge, where there’s a small fridge with drinks for purchase, and the laundry service for a small fee. We loved staying with Cintia and Alex. Thank you from Margrete and Rita.

The couple were warm and helpful without hovering. When our luggage transfer went wrong and our bags ended up at another auberge, they sorted it out and got them for us. We were hiking the chemin St Jacques and really enjoyed staying here. The room was very comfortable, dinner was delicious, and breakfast came with plenty of coffee. We’d definitely come back.

Right by the bridge, we had a spacious room for four with lots of character and a lovely little bathroom. The host was wonderful, and the old house has been beautifully renovated inside. We were even served some special treats from Brazil. Highly, highly recommended.

Alex and Cintia were great company over dinner and drinks. The bed felt like absolute luxury compared with what we’d slept on elsewhere along the trail. This was one of our favorite stops on our Camino walk, and we’d definitely recommend it.
