10/10
The hostess was kind and caring, and the home-cooked food was delicious. The therapies were lovely too, and the price felt fair. When we stayed, the house and its decor and garden were still being restored, but I found it a peaceful place to settle and feel grounded. Very relaxing, with a wonderful atmosphere, like an oasis from the modern rush.

We turned up after 8pm with no booking, and the owner kindly managed to find us a room. It was spacious, and the elegant bathroom was very large. A bit more lighting would have helped, but we were very happy with it.

There was no bar or restaurant, despite those being advertised, and the nearest amenities were 10 kms away. We chose not to stay and found somewhere else to sleep.

A peaceful place with a really friendly, helpful owner. If you reserve a day ahead, they make great meals. Park first beside the chateau.

We'd already paid, but the place wasn't clean enough to meet basic standards, so we left without staying. I can't recommend it.
