We come back whenever we can for vacation, it feels like another home. The apartments are privately owned and work perfectly for two adults and two children. You have to contact owners who rent theirs out. There's a group of Danish owners who know each other well, and if we can't rent from one, they usually help us find another. The area is beautiful, with a private pool, direct beach access, and private parking.
I spent ten months in this residence in 2024, and I'd move back without hesitation if I could find a year-round place. The residence is clean and has a caretaker. The beach is nearby, and there are plenty of walks around. In the off-season, shops aren't open, so you just need to plan ahead. If you're after peace and quiet, this is a good fit. The neighboring campsite doesn't cause a problem, and its entertainment doesn't go on until the early hours. I've rented elsewhere where a concert was held much farther away, but the wind carried the sound so clearly it felt like we were in the front row.
The apartment is in a very good location, but after coming for several years, I won't be back. The pool has too many restrictions this year, to the point of banning swim caps for toddlers. Parking is a real hassle too, since there aren't always spaces available.
I lived there for nine months, and honestly, it was just okay. The campsite next door was really noisy, and the parking lot had no shade. Some people in the middle building watched our every move. There was a musty smell on the ground floor, and the pool only opened from June to September, even though we could already have used it in April.
The residence is flawless, except for one thing: the gate remote doesn't work. It's not for pedestrians.
