The daily breakfast was delicious, and we slept really well on a very comfortable bed. The rooms were nicely maintained and the bathroom area was very nice too. Sarah and Ian run a magnificent rental property, with lovely gardens, a pool, and a play area for children and adults on the beautiful lawn. The management was so helpful when we were planning our days out to caves, castles, and other things to see nearby. Highly recommend it, and I'd return in a heartbeat.

It's quiet and tucked away in the French countryside, with lots of castles, gardens, caves, and towns no more than 30 minutes away by car. The hosts have put thought into all the details in these charming gites. We had a beautiful stay.

The cooking class was FUNtastic, such a fun way to get to know French cooking through local specialties, especially the desserts. Yummy. We had three relaxing days, taking in the view and exploring the area. The owners were helpful and knew the towns really well. Thanks for a stay I'll remember.

We really enjoyed our stay. The whole family gave us a warm welcome, and our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was hearty, and the country setting was so quiet. The market visit was followed by a fun, tasty day of learning with Ian as our chef teacher. He introduced us to local vendors and walked us through preparing and eating a generous three-course meal. Sara joined in to help and chat over the meal. Their enthusiasm and skill were clear. I'm glad we stopped for the course, and it's also a good base for visiting caves.

The buffet breakfast had a terrific range, and the stay was good value for money. We spent four nights here, and the location worked well for visiting the Dordogne's main sights. Sara's priority is making sure guests have a good time. She gives thorough explanations and is around to answer questions about Le Chevrefeuille, the region, and places to visit. The rooms and other facilities were clean, comfortable, full of character, and top notch. There's free parking, and the quiet country setting is lovely. Families can enjoy the pool, which has a safety fence, along with other facilities that make the place feel safe and enjoyable.
