Lagrange Vacances Les Pierres de Jade

The residence did not live up to what was advertised or what we paid. For our 15-day stay, which cost €2000, we were told by the travel agency that the apartment had air conditioning, and we specifically asked for it. There was none when we arrived, and no washing machine either. There isn't one anywhere in the residence, so we had to travel 3 km to do laundry and pay extra. The supposed shops 800 m away amounted to a casino where prices were three times higher, which was outrageously expensive. The photos on the "Les Pierres de Jade" website also looked nothing like the place we got, even the storage beside the kitchen was completely different. The facilities felt poorly equipped. The six-person apartment had an induction hob with only two burners instead of four, a warped countertop, and a 100L water heater that wasn't enough for six people. The clothesline was flimsy and broken. The toilet was limescale-covered and unclean. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries, only one hook for a bath towel, and the bedroom curtains were filthy and stained. We hadn't asked for a written inventory on arrival to check things like the kitchen utensils, but that was unacceptable too. There wasn't enough basic storage or equipment. The pool had no loungers, so you'd need to bring a chair. Its safety also concerned me, and the shower by the footbath entrance was out of order, leaving no working showers. At reception, we were told that none of the apartments had air conditioning, even though the ground-floor apartments and rental houses apparently have air conditioning and washing machines. You only get a spare apartment key if you ask, and nobody offers one. Even mountain rentals give you three keys. The black badge opens the main gate, but the receptionist told us to walk up to it, as the gate sign says, so it would open. It still wouldn't. We had to get out of the car and swipe the badge. Why not provide a remote control for the electric gate? I absolutely don't recommend this residence. It gets a zero from me, with so many missing amenities and a stay that wasn't what the advertising or price promised.
