Azureva Saint Cyprien

The grounds are pleasant, with tall pines and flowering bushes, and the pool was nice and well kept. The cottages are maintained and equipped well, with comfortable beds. The two mezzanine beds weren't practical, though. It's too hot to sleep up there, and the one small window doesn't air out the room. We found the client relations terrible, even though the campsite itself is nice. When we arrived, Mr. Travis greeted us in a strict, cold manner, like someone suited to a military camp, with little understanding of people's particular needs. Guests are expected to check all the room and kitchen items and make sure everything works on arrival. Staff could do that between 10 and 16 instead of leaving it to customers who may have travelled for 10 hours. Reception only opens at 16, so don't arrive earlier. Check-out is no later than 9:30, and before leaving you're expected to do a really deep clean, even removing water marks from the shower doors. That means someone who isn't a professional cleaner prepares the room for the next guest, so it may not be properly disinfected or cleaned. That's a major downside for me. We've stayed at campsites with similar rules, but they did the final cleaning themselves. I wouldn't return.
