The Charrier family gave us and our little dog such a warm welcome into their beautiful home. It's in an idyllic rural setting, and we slept soundly in a heavenly bed. The breakfast, made with homemade and local produce, was the best we've had during our six weeks on the continent. Amazing, we'll definitely return.

This is a charming old house full of character and history, adapted nicely as a B&B. Our suite on the second floor was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and an ensuite bathroom plus a separate toilet. We also had a small balcony overlooking the market square, with a table and two chairs that made it perfect for people watching. The staff were friendly, kind, attentive and knew the local area well. Breakfast was lovely at a communal table downstairs, with homemade yoghurt and cake, croissant, bread, jam and fruit. There's a kettle in the room, but the communal fridge is on the ground floor, so we kept little bottles of UHT milk in the room instead. A full-length mirror in the suite would've been nice, and larger breakfast plates, please! The main house has several flights of stairs and wouldn't suit wheelchair users.

Right in a small village, the location is ideal. The owner is welcoming and happy to suggest things to see nearby. The room was very clean, and breakfast was varied and plentiful, with homemade products. A real bonus was being able to park the motorcycle in the secure garden. Give it a try!
