I've stayed here before and I'm sure I'll come back. It's peaceful, right by the Atlantic, and I always feel sad when it's time to leave because the staff are so lovely. The little house isn't new, but it's well kept and has everything needed. There's parking by the house or in a shared lot, and bikes can be delivered each morning if booked ahead. For anyone wondering, there's a drying rack and clotheslines in the storeroom, plus a laundrette by reception. There are two pools, one outside and one covered for anyone who feels the cold, as well as mini golf.

The shower was broken, there was a really strong sewage smell, and the furniture was old and worn. We got a frosty welcome at reception, and nothing had been left to get us started, not even toilet paper, a little dish soap, a sponge or a dishcloth. All the dishes had been taken out of the cupboards for the inventory, but the list didn't match what was there. Doing the check yourself is my advice, though putting everything back takes time after you arrive. There was no broom or mop for the mandatory end-of-stay cleaning, as if guests were meant to bring those along. We were staying in a bungalow, not a caravan or tent. We'd just spent a wonderful week at a small family campsite in Saint Georges. This place was a first for us in terms of how little it provided. I'd only come here if there were no other option.

The accommodation was big enough, but dirty, with dead insects behind the door and a huge cobweb between the window and shutter. Rust was everywhere, on the door and gate, dishes, clothes rack, electric stove and cutlery. Both pools were freezing, and the two jacuzzi areas were shut. There was no restaurant or bakery. No wonder the resort was empty at the end of July. The owner's a building contractor, which makes that even more surprising. I wouldn't recommend it.
