The town is lovely, and you can get straight to the Loire to sit and eat as the sun goes down, a great way to end the day. At the hotel, the staff were super nice and the place felt cozy, with clean, comfortable rooms, though the standard ones are quite small. Prices are fair and affordable. Breakfast is simple too, and reasonably priced.

Small portions at dinner, and the bottled beer was the only option, no tap beer. I'd thought about going to the kebab shop, but the weather meant I couldn't cross the road, lol. I hoped breakfast would make up for it. Ha, with just two boiled eggs for four people, it wasn't worth the wait. Get there early if you want an egg.

The young woman and man working at reception and in the restaurant in the evenings brought back the feel of old France, where the focus is on the food rather than the interior. Thanks for the four nights and the old French charm around me during my business trip.

The family room was comfortable, though it could use hooks or hangers for clothes. The restaurant was reasonably priced, but breakfast cost too much. The location is good, and during our visit it was the only place to get food.

We stopped in hoping to have a beer and use the wifi, but the connection wasn't very good and we couldn't take our beer out to the terrace. Otherwise, it was a nice place.
