Hotel Select

We left straight away and still haven't received a refund. We got as far as the second floor, where the corridor was almost completely dark. There was one door marked as an exit, but we weren't sure it led to our room. I used my phone torch and held the door partway open until the sensor light came on, yet the corridor stayed dark. Getting to our room felt frightening, like we were walking into a storeroom. Earlier, when we arrived around 8pm, the nearby road was crowded and didn't seem safe. The receptionist was bold, and some strange-looking people came into the hotel while the man was handling our formalities. They didn't look decent and seemed under some kind of influence. On the way to the lift, we also passed people with strange looks and attire.

The breakfast is amazing, with both sweet and savory food and fruit, so it's well worth starting the day there. The rooms are good, and the staff are polite and efficient. The hotel is a great place to stay in St. Denis. You can also leave luggage for several days for 1€/day per luggage.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, and breakfast was really good. It was a quiet hotel overall, although the soundproofing wasn't great. The bathroom had a strange plate ceiling.

It's very basic, as you'd expect from a two-star place, so don't count on being pampered. If all you need is somewhere to leave your luggage and sleep while spending most of your time out, it does the job. It's OK. You do have to walk a bit to reach a bus stop for ' Gare de St Denis'.
