The nearby wine bar stayed open late, and I also found easy parking, a laundromat across the street, a bio grocery store, and a bakery. I missed breakfast while doing laundry, and the self check-in didn't make it clear what was included. The neighborhood options were better anyway. I was driving with three dogs and needed to arrive very late. The hotel worked well as an affordable, dog-friendly place to sleep. Things ran smoothly without anyone at reception until my code stopped working before checkout. Getting a replacement was difficult, and that one expired too while I made several trips to sort it out twice. Another French-speaking guest helped me a lot. I might have had a real problem without her.

The entrance seats seem to invite people to smoke or have a drink late at night, and the noise carries into the rooms facing the front. Staff were friendly, though, and the beds were good. Breakfast was simple but nice.

We managed to book at the last minute, and the room was clean. Breakfast has the usual choices, like baguette and croissant, which were okay. The eggs and bacon were horrific, though. I'd tell the hotel to stop serving them.

For a one-night stay, the small clean room had everything I was looking for. Breakfast was good, served well, and offered enough choice. The price for what you get is very good.

Good value for the money. The fittings aren't bolted down anymore, unlike before. The beds are still firmer than I like, but in the hot weather I could sleep on the duvet too.
