There are three heaters, and they warm the place up fast. The apartment is clean and sits right on Saint-Emilion's main thoroughfare, though it was quieter than I'd expected. It's a small place, with a self-contained kitchen and a washing machine. I'm not sure whether it has a dryer setting. The towels are big and fluffy.

The fully equipped kitchen was a real plus, and the small apartment was very nice. Staff were friendly, too. But when we were going to bed, we found a lot of hair in the bed, so I'd recommend checking it as soon as you arrive.

The owners made us feel incredibly welcome, and this well-equipped accommodation right in the center of Saint Emilion was a pleasure to stay in. They put out a complimentary breakfast with fruit, milk, cereal, butter, jam and rusks. There's a wine shop downstairs where you can taste wines before buying, and the staff give excellent advice. Les Delices du Roy is across the street and well worth a visit. A 10/10, highly recommended.

A friendly man from the wine shop next door collected the key and showed us around. We stayed in apartment number 3 on the first floor, which was very spacious and centrally located near the underground church and main square. The double and single beds are in a loft just below the roof. Definitely worth a visit.

Good location, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast supplies were there, and we got a warm welcome. Private parking is very close by.
