The countryside setting is lovely, though pretty rural. We drove, so getting around wasn't a problem for us. Our one night in the Authentique room was wonderful: clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The host was a lovely woman who spoke very good English, and she'd put out a generous breakfast with breads, marmalades, fruit, and drinks.

So peaceful and quiet, with an immaculate garden. It's only 6 minutes from the beach, and there are riverside restaurants nearby. The renovated farmhouse has beautiful modern apartments, decorated to a high standard. Ours was spotless, with a coffee machine, fridge, hairdryer, and a lovely, spacious bathroom. Luxury accommodation at an affordable price, and a fabulous host. Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was lovely, freshly made for us in the hosts' home, with bread, pastries, jams, fruit, and coffee. The hostess gave us a warm welcome and was exceedingly friendly, with helpful advice about local restaurants. The accommodation itself was spacious, homely, and very clean. This place is perfect.

La Haute Muraille made for an ideal restful stop before heading to Calais and the Channel Tunnel. It's a charming B&B in a tranquil stretch of the French countryside in Saint Folquin, housed in a 17th-century farmhouse. Béatrice and her husband were wonderfully welcoming, and the rooms are tastefully decorated. I was absolutely delighted with the homemade breakfast too. Highly recommend!

The quiet setting in a small country town and the lovely interior made for a great stay. The rooms were super clean, and breakfast was plentiful, with delicious homemade tarts. It was fun being able to pet the cute cats and chickens. The host was very friendly. Everything was perfect, I highly recommend staying here.
