Hotel La Christophine

The hosts were very friendly, and breakfast was the best meal, especially with the homemade jams. The stay itself was good, but there are some limitations, particularly if you don’t rent a car. Food isn’t allowed in the hotel, supposedly because of insurance, and hotel beach towels can’t be taken to the beach, supposedly because of worms. Getting to the beach is difficult: you have to cross a busy highway and go down a steep, slippery, stony hill. Coral reefs limit the areas where you can swim, and those spots were mostly very crowded with locals. Dinners at the hotel restaurant were limited too, with no choice or very little choice.

Florence gave us a very warm welcome and lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to visit. The rooms are comfortable, and the quiet makes for an intimate stay. It’s also conveniently located close to Saint Francois and just a few meters from the beach. A really nice hotel.

We spent two wonderful weeks here and were in touch with the team before we arrived. A huge thank you to Aurore, Greg, and Emmanuelle for going above and beyond to make the whole stay perfect. The rooms were top-notch, with air conditioning, great cleanliness, a mini-fridge, and more. We loved the pool and the hotel’s eco-friendly approach and location. They also offered a wide range of great activities, and the lobster evenings were a real pleasure. Thanks so much for everything, we’ll be back!

Our room was magnificent, spacious, and very comfortable, with a very good bed. We enjoyed the lovely pool and its sun loungers, and opted for the breakfast package, an original eco-friendly option 😉. Aurore and Greg looked after us delightfully. La Christophine is in a quiet area between Pointe aux Châteaux, a must-see, and Saint-François, with its marina and restaurants. Go and enjoy it! 👍🏻
