The food and wine are great, and the welcome is super friendly and informal. We’ve stayed here several times. It’s dog friendly, the room has air conditioning, and breakfast in the kitchen comes with homemade jams and local cheeses. Dinner on the terrace was excellent.

Stephan really knows how to welcome people, and somehow managed to cook a remarkable dinner while serving it too. We shared the meal with guests we hadn’t met before, then had a 10/10 breakfast the next morning. The rooms are genuinely top class, very comfortable and spacious enough. Trading up felt like serious value. A brilliant one night stop on the way north from Auch towards Caen.

Stefan cooked a wonderful dinner with locally sourced ingredients, and the chocolate fondant was the best I’ve ever had. His enthusiasm and good mood are infectious, and his English is perfect. Leila and Stefan were delightful hosts. The location is amazing, and the quality is high for a reasonable price. My wife and I thoroughly recommend Château la Thuilière.

The owners were exceptionally hospitable and accommodating, and we’re already looking forward to another visit. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with lovely views of the countryside. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, among the best food we’ve had in the region. We were deeply impressed by our stay at Château La Thuilière.

The grounds are beautiful, and there’s a gorgeous pool area, though we didn’t get to try it because of the weather. With just seven rooms, the privately owned Château never felt crowded. Stephan and Leila were so kind and accommodating. Dinner, handmade by the owners, was incredibly delicious in a beautiful dining room, and that amazing breakfast still makes my mouth water. This was a dreamy stay, everything felt perfect, and I’m already planning another visit.
