We stayed at L'Arbre d'Alaïs while visiting Puy du Fou. The hosts were welcoming, and the room looked like the one shown on the website. It was a little cold that first night, and the bathroom was too. The breakfast felt overpriced for what was offered: pastries and bread, with no toaster, plus cheese, yogurt, and fruit. The spacious shower was also frustrating. The water swung between very hot and very cold, so rinsing took a while and wasted a lot of water.

The room was spotless and the breakfast was a real treat. We found the setting both beautiful and relaxing, and our hosts were welcoming and gave us great tips that helped us make the most of our two days. Highly recommended.

We had some lovely conversations with Nicolas and his wife, who welcomed us so warmly. The room was spotless, the setting was lovely, and breakfast was too. We had an excellent stay in this gîte in St-Fulgent while visiting Puy du Fou. I highly recommend it!

I spent 10 days here on a business trip and had a wonderful stay. The guesthouse offers excellent value, whether you're visiting the Vendée for work or heading to Puy du Fou theme park. Everything was just right. My charming room had everything I needed to feel at home, and I got to see the other rooms too. Each had its own character, mixing modern comforts with the authentic feel of the place. After a busy day, the garden's pool and jacuzzi were ideal. Guests can also use a fully equipped kitchen to make meals instead of eating out. I tried the meals offered by the guesthouse, and they were excellent and beautifully presented. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

The pool and spa were kept at lovely temperatures and were well maintained. The house felt like home, with welcoming, friendly owners, a clean, spacious room, and tasteful decor. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of choice. The Vendée dishes were excellent, and the gourmet menus were exquisite, so be sure to book them in advance. It's very well located, about 30 minutes from Puy du Fou. Thank you for the stay. This is a house worth discovering.
