The welcome was great and it's a beautiful place, but finding any peace is difficult because St. Galmier is so noisy. From morning until night, planes doing skydiving flights circle loudly over the town and surrounding area without a break on weekends starting in April, during the Easter school holidays, and for almost the entire month of August. And that's before even getting into the pollution and carbon footprint of each skydive.

The homemade breakfast was a delight, with fresh bread and homemade jams. We felt right at home thanks to the very warm welcome. Our room was large and had a TV, Wi-Fi, a bathroom, and a toilet. Thank you!
