We spent a wonderful week at Doux Instant. Christine was warm and helpful, and our clean, comfortable studio had a kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a terrace. The bed was great, and the air conditioning was a welcome extra. The village has limited places to eat, so we often cooked. A brasserie on the square serves meals Wednesday through Saturday, but you need to reserve ahead. We tried the hamburger bar too, though the welcome there wasn't kind: a staff member snapped at us when we came in because they were serving only salad. The beach at Petit Travers, Cardon is about a 30-minute drive, with parking available. We also enjoyed visiting the charming towns of Pignon and Laroque. Breakfast was fresh, organic, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Each morning there was a pitcher of orange juice, fresh fruit, and yogurt waiting for us. The pool and jacuzzi felt luxurious, especially for an evening glass of wine by the water or a relaxing soak.

The jacuzzi was a real treat for unwinding, and the generous breakfast and high-quality bedding made the stay even better. We were greeted by genuinely friendly, helpful people at this magnificent place. I'd gladly come back for another stay, and highly recommend it.
