La Palmeraie

Paint had been used to cover extensive mold in the rooms. We were there with four adults and three children, including two toddlers, and three of us adults ended up in the emergency room with breathing problems. Letting people stay in those conditions is unthinkable. To me, it's criminal negligence.

It's a very quiet, clean, shaded residence just a short walk from the village. We rented a detached house, and the price included a garage and two bikes. The pool is heated, though there's no grab bar to use when going down the pool stairs. We also found no hairdryer in the bathroom. Checks are no longer accepted except for security deposits. Grandparents can play pétanque on the court.

Everything we needed for a holiday was there, and the bikes were a fantastic bonus. The accommodation is a little dated, but perfectly adequate. The residence is very nice, quiet, and well located. I'd definitely come back.

The houses are practical and have good beds, but they should have Wi-Fi. The welcome was friendly and professional, and when one loaner bike needed a repair, it was fixed within 30 minutes. The residence is pleasant and well placed near the village and beaches, with easy access by bike. The green spaces could use a second person to keep them properly maintained.
