The owner sat with us over breakfast, and we really enjoyed chatting with her. If you like getting to know local people, this is a great fit. It's a cute little place in a small French village, with rooms full of furniture the owner has chosen herself. Chenonceaux castle is only a 5-10 minute drive away. We loved the atmosphere here, everything felt so lovely.

This was a lovely BnB, decorated beautifully with antiques. Chenonceaux is very close by.

A great base for visiting the castles in the Loire Valley.

The place itself is beautiful, with refined decor throughout. The breakfast was generous and delicious, though the owner seemed overwhelmed. We may have caught it at a bad time, going by the other reviews, because from the moment we arrived we felt as if we were intruding. The welcome was cold and the atmosphere felt oppressive. There were a few things that could be better: no extra pillows or blankets, very weak shower pressure, and towels had been forgotten. Such a shame.

A charming place, with an owner who really cares about her guests' comfort. My room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and breakfast came with plenty of choice.
