The owner heard us out when we listed the problems, but didn’t even offer a simple apology. The room was filthy: the sofa had disgusting stains, the microwave and oven were dirty inside and out, and the extractor fan was thick with grease that looked like it had built up for months. The bed frame and bathroom door frame were torn as well. We stayed just one night, and it was a terrible experience. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The general dirt was everywhere, with hair, dust, grease and built-up grime in several places. During our one-night stay we also found rusty metal structures, things held together with tape, and plenty of broken or damaged details. The induction cooktop’s glass was cracked, which seemed like an electrical and safety risk. The kitchen was especially bad. The extractor hood was greasy and rusty, the oven had rust and baked-on food inside, and the microwave was splattered with grease on its walls and rack. Cutlery and utensils in the drawers were dirty and poorly stored. There were also missing or uninstalled faucets in the sink and shower, and the bathroom door was poorly fitted or partly dismantled, with loose pieces on the floor. The sofa had several visible stains and looked unhygienic. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows had obvious yellow stains. The place lacked cleanliness, upkeep and care, making an already short stay unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend it unless it gets a deep clean, the damaged furniture is replaced, and the whole facility is inspected. It shouldn’t be listed on rental platforms without basic hygiene and habitability.

The pillows were stained, and that alone was unacceptable. The shower holder was broken, while the microwave was in deplorable shape inside and out. The oven had such a crust of grime, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months, that it was unusable. There was hair in the cutlery drawers, months’ worth of grease on the extractor fan, and encrusted residue all over the ceramic hob. The sofa had suspicious-looking stains that were repulsive to look at. This is only part of the hygiene and maintenance problems we saw. It was one of the most unpleasant, disgusting stays I’ve had. A terrible and deeply disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

We really appreciated the bowl of delicious mirabelle plums they gave us. Serge, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly, and so was his friend, who’s also called Serge.
