The hosts were welcoming, and breakfast was good. The location is lovely and quiet, but the shared kitchenette really needs attention. It could use a full refurbishment and new appliances.

Having fields all around the property made our stay completely peaceful, and the pool was a real bonus. Our room was very spacious, with a lovely bathroom and a large walk-in shower. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, and breakfast was generous, with homemade products. We left feeling relaxed and happy with our stay.

We stopped overnight while passing through Bourges. The garden-facing terrace and spacious room with its bathroom were lovely, and the setting was pleasantly quiet. Our dog had room to roll around and romp on the freshly cut grass. The hosts were very welcoming, and breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade bread!

The homemade jams at breakfast were such a delightful and original touch. We had a very warm, family-style welcome during our night at this peaceful, romantic gîte. We highly recommend it near Bourges and the marshes.

The rooms are spacious and rustic, the place itself is beautiful, and everything was clean. Breakfast was generous, too. I took off a star for the service. My husband, friends, and I found the host rather abrupt, which made us feel uncomfortable as guests. We were given orders quite sharply when we arrived, and payment was requested at breakfast, even though we weren't going to leave without paying. After we paid, there wasn't a thank-you, despite our thanking the host and saying goodbye politely. We were pleasant and polite, so I couldn't understand why we didn't even get a smile. Dear Madam, if you read this, hospitality is a big part of why people recommend a place to friends and family. Please keep that in mind! 😀
