Domaine Du Lac

The region is beautiful, and the lake is lovely. It’s wonderfully quiet here, and the owners are so friendly. We had a great week in the chalet, which was welcoming and really comfortable.

There’s plenty of space between the pitches, and the campsite itself is quiet. Our mobile home was clean and had the equipment we needed. The owner was friendly and welcoming, but her husband’s manner was a different story. The shower temperature kept swinging between very hot and very cold. At first he said that was normal in a mobile home, then came to check and found an actual problem with the shower head. We were also trying to find the footbridge when their son pointed us towards the exit very rudely, apparently assuming we’d come in without permission. He didn’t even ask whether we had rented a pitch. To be clear, after the owner’s reply, I want to say I never went onto their son’s pitch. I was on a path inside the campsite when he verbally attacked me. I didn’t know he worked there, or I would have answered him right away. Later, when I told him at the snack bar that I hadn’t liked his tone and that he should first have asked if I was staying there, no other customers were around. Was that really unreasonable? They can be unpleasant, but am I not allowed to complain?

Our mobile home was spotless and had lots of space, and the pitches are huge too. The beach is right nearby, which made things handy with the kids, and there are nice walks in the area. The owners made us feel welcome, it was peaceful, and dogs are allowed. A really lovely family holiday. We’d happily recommend the campsite.

We had number 13, a clean, modern mobile home. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the pool and play area were great for the kids. The owners were warm and helpful, and you can order delicious pastries and bread. We’d definitely recommend the campsite.
