The staff at reception are kind, and parking is open at any hour, so you can return whenever you need to. They give you two keys, one for the hotel entrance and one for your room. The hotel is in a good, quiet location with shops nearby. It’s inexpensive, and the room is good for the price. To reach your room, you go through a main door, then find two separate doors on the left and right. This layout works well for families or friends who want rooms close together, giving you a sort of private area. It can be annoying if the person in the neighboring room is noisy, though. If you want an affordable hotel near the center and you have a car, this place is an option.

Handy location, quiet and clean. I didn’t have breakfast. A few TV channels weren’t working. Practical and functional, with good parking.

The managers, Mr and Mrs Patel, were outstanding, with genuine, excellent customer service. They were helpful and obliging, offering advice and support, and their restaurant recommendations were spot on. Nocturel has basic amenities and is clean and comfortable. The hotel rate package with them made this a wonderful option.

Very basic, but the room was clean and cheap. The fan in the room was much appreciated. Breakfast was reasonable value, and both the croissant and pain au chocolat were good.

The beds are great, and the place is clean. There’s no elevator, but there’s a good restaurant right across the street. A good choice for visiting the Loire castles.
