The location made things easy, with the Télécabine up to Le Bettex a short walk across the ravine. The hotel is right in the centre, close to plenty of bars and restaurants, and the public car park is just across the road. Inside, it has a quirky, warm look and comfortable shared spaces. Breakfast had lots of choices, and the owners and staff were helpful and easy to talk to. I’d happily stay again. Thank you! ☺️
A short, easy walk gets you to the gondola, and the staff are lovely. The rooms are well appointed and the beds really comfortable. Highly recommend!
We stayed in a balcony room facing the town square and mountains, and it was a lovely view. The room felt clean, cozy, and updated. There’s free underground parking a short walk away. It’s an old chalet-style building, so there’s no lift. We didn’t mind the creaky stairs, especially with the books along them. The square can get noisy, though. A band played late at one of the bars, so light sleepers may want earplugs. A charming little boutique hotel in the heart of Saint Gervais les Bains. We’d happily return, and preferred this area to the overly touristy part of Chamonix.
The owner was really welcoming, and the cafe and breakfast room had a homey feel. There were books and lego displayed all around, which was fun to see. The place somehow felt both chic and modern while still being cozy.
We had another lovely stay. Our room was cold, and there was a diesel smell on the stairs. We asked for a heater and got one very quickly.
