Pascal made dinner and breakfast with fruit and vegetables from his own garden. The room was lovely, with a new, well-appointed en suite and a view over the vineyards. The chambre d'hote is right in the old town, and I had a very nice stay.

In Saint Haon, this is a small bed and breakfast with an excellent room and a great shower. I’d stay here again.

The village is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay with Pascal. He welcomed us warmly into his lovely guesthouse, and our room was very comfortable. We also got to use the spa and sauna, and the meal was very good. We’d happily recommend it and come back.

We had no parking or garage, and only had our rooms, with no access to the lounge, terrace, or other amenities. The pool that was advertised wasn’t there either. Meals were charged at full price despite being zucchini soup, unripe grapes from the vine, and a small cake. Breakfast was very skimpy: one coffee, a small croissant, and not enough for everyone. When I asked for butter and cheese, I got two small, or very small, individually wrapped pieces of Comté. All that for €22. I was very disappointed. It didn’t match what was advertised, and we missed out.
