The room was what I expected for this hotel, but the bathroom is very dated and needs updating. The shower head can’t be adjusted, so the bathroom floor gets soaked, and there’s mold in the tile grout. I paid for a superior room and all I got was an extra coffee maker. We wanted to use it for tea, but the water tasted like coffee.

The rooms were clean and efficient, and the manager was very pleasant. The check-in process doesn’t make sense: they issued a QR code instead of an access code. That needs fixing for a smooth arrival.

I travel alone in my electric wheelchair and chose B&B hotels because check-in is easy and the disability facilities are good. Everything here suited a disabled traveller: there was accessible parking by the door, a lift, and a spacious bedroom with an accessible ensuite. Staff offered to help serve breakfast and carry my tray if needed. I highly recommend it.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was pretty decent. But the room was so small that managing with little kids and luggage was a real challenge. It also hadn’t been vacuumed properly before we arrived. It was dirty enough that I asked for a broom and cleaned it myself. Probably better suited to solo business travel.

The staff are nice, and having someone on duty at night felt fairly secure. The room was bigger than any other B&B we tried in France, and we tried quite a few, but also seemed to be the dirtiest. There were still pee stains in the toilet and a spiderweb in the room.
