The worst part was the noise: on three of our four nights, very loud music from nearby started around 9 or 9:30 and continued past midnight. It made it hard to fall asleep after a long day. The fourth night, with only the ocean in the background, we slept wonderfully. The campsite is reasonably priced for an area with so many options, and it's very convenient for a good beach. A nice walk along the sand takes you to the local town. The pitches are good, with some shade, and the facilities are clean and tidy, though showers get busy in the evening. The basic swimming area is clean and has a very attentive lifeguard. He'll challenge you if you're wearing long shorts, rightly so.

At the end of June it was quiet, with plenty of privacy, and the forested campsite is in a lovely spot near the beach, where we found beautiful rocks. The pool was large and a comfortable temperature, and we enjoyed using it. The toilets were the main problem. The block nearest our pitch was out of service, and the blocks generally felt decades old, as if built in the 1960s and never updated. They weren't the cleanest, either, and didn't feel up to a three-star standard. They need renovating soon. Despite the setting, the state of the facilities would put me off coming back.

The beach nearby was more appealing to us than the pool or bistro, and the village restaurants were tempting, so we didn't use either. The pitches worked well for our caravan and car. It's a nice campsite close to the beach, and the sanitary facilities are somewhat old but clean and properly working.

The fridge and freezer didn't work for the first two days. We reported it and never heard back, though they suddenly started working later. There's loud music almost every night, with people shouting into a microphone over it. The pool area is okay, but you can't get a beer by your chair, and cars drive around all day, often quite fast. Watch out for the huge pinecones too, they reach terminal velocity before hitting your head or car!

It's a spacious, quiet campsite with lots of accommodation options: bungalows, tent bungalows, tents, and plenty of spots for caravans and motorhomes. There are two simple pools, one for babies and one for everyone else, and a small climbing park for children. Nearby are a nice green park with several paths, a beach and a little village. SuperU is about 10 minutes away by bike.
