The place is gorgeous, and breakfast was excellent. Corine is such a relaxed, lovely person and a fantastic host. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

We spent three weeks cycling through beautiful France and have such lovely memories of our night at les Asphodeles. Corine Deroyer welcomed us warmly, showed us her beautiful, unique artwork, and made sure we were rested and ready for the next day. We slept wonderfully in Sarah’s room, then had a delightful breakfast and conversation before she sent us off with encouragement and warm wishes. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner in Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort. We hope to stay with you again on our next cycling trip. Les Asphodeles is right in St. Hippolyte-du-Fort. Corine’s hospitality and the exquisite artwork she creates make it a special place to stay. You won’t be disappointed.

The garden is lovely, and the owner is very kind. I especially enjoyed seeing the paintings on display, all created by the owners. The room itself is beautiful and has a real sense of history. I'd love to come back.

Corine has a fairy-like way of bringing this exquisite, charming house to life. It's a magical place that feels outside of time. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, decorated beautifully and filled with flowers. The meals are excellent and full of surprises, with Corine introducing dishes that use flowers and the flavors of the Cévennes. Highly recommended.
