Castel d'Alzac

We keep coming back several times a year, and always choose the L’Amoureuse gîte. It feels like a romantic little retreat, with lovely furnishings and tasteful decor. The view from some of the gîtes over the Aveyron countryside, the Combalou plateau, and Roquefort-sur-Soulzon is stunning and so calming. Roquefort-sur-Soulzon is home to the famous Roquefort cheese cellars. Laura deserves a huge thank you for managing the gîtes with such kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism. She makes every stay feel perfect. The setting is peaceful, the comfort is top of the range, and it’s a real change of scene. For what’s included, the value is excellent. We’re always delighted to return and will be back again. A true 5-star gîte in beautiful Aveyron, and one we wholeheartedly recommend. 🌿✨

Laura welcomed us so professionally and made us feel right at home. She’s an excellent host, and we’d happily come back. The cottages are beautiful, with superb decor, and the whole place feels like a peaceful haven. Thank you, Laura!

A pool you can swim in even in April, plus a private jacuzzi and infrared sauna, all in a breathtaking setting. The rooms are spacious, with 160 or 180 cm beds, huge pillows, and incredibly soft, fluffy duvets. The bathroom was perfect too. Magnificent, peaceful, and such a treat!

We spent four days at Castel d’Alzac and came away feeling refreshed. The gîte, the one with the girlfriend, had great equipment and materials, and we loved the private jacuzzi and swimming pool. The bedding felt like sleeping on a cloud. A wonderful chance to slow down and recharge. Thanks to the team, we highly recommend it.
