It’s surprisingly wasteful to throw away usable cleaning products and paper towels “to help the local shop.” The next guests could have used them. The checkout was frustrating too: the inspection focused on dust behind furniture and inside radiators, plus mould in the fridge seals, problems that seemed to have built up over months or years rather than during a short stay. It felt petty and unreasonable, as if guests were being rushed into giving up some of their deposit while trying to catch a flight. A modest cleaning fee and proper cleaners would make more sense. The location is the one real plus. The chalets are in a friendly part of the resort, with good access to the lifts. Inside, though, they’re old, cheaply built, poorly maintained, and badly insulated against both cold and noise. The walls are so thin you can hear whole conversations next door. The appliances are old, dirty, and poor quality, and the heaters swing between leaving you cold and filling the room with the smell of burning dust. Cleanliness is unpredictable too, since guests are expected to clean before leaving and the next arrival depends on how well the previous occupants did. There was also a group of about 20 teenagers staying nearby without meaningful supervision. On several nights they were noisy and partying until 2am. When we complained, management shrugged and suggested we handle it ourselves, or said they might “send an email.” That didn’t inspire confidence in how guest welfare is handled. These are basically garden sheds, and they’re cheap for a reason. If you’re a big group that doesn’t mind noise or discomfort and just needs somewhere to crash after drinking, they may do. For a comfortable ski stay, I’d look elsewhere.

There’s hardly any room in this apartment, even though it’s meant for six. Only four chairs fit around the table, so two people have to eat on the sofa, which is also supposed to sleep two. The bathroom is awful, you can’t shower without soaking the whole floor. There isn’t a trash bin or a single hanger anywhere. We asked to switch rooms and were told everything was full, even though other guests were apparently allowed to move. I’ve never stayed in such an awful room.

It’s a quiet village and a lovely base for a big ski area. The apartments are simply furnished but nice, and the slopes are only a short walk away. Some cottages are close enough to ski right to the door. You can hear some noise, though if everyone’s a bit considerate it’s manageable.

The spot was well located and we still managed to have a somewhat nice holiday, but several things made it a poor experience. We arrived to a very dirty cottage and left it cleaner than we found it. The beds were uncomfortable, the heaters didn’t work properly, the chairs wobbled, and poor insulation meant a lot of noise from the neighbors. Customer service was the biggest letdown. The curly-haired receptionist was repeatedly rude and unfriendly, and communication from the staff was poor.

Such a lovely place, with nature, peace and comfort, almost like a fairytale. The prices are reasonable too. I never expected I could book a week here for my family for under $400.
