Château de Courtebotte

Our family of five, including three kids under three, stayed here recently. The mother and daughter who run the Chateau were so hospitable, and the kids loved sleeping in a “castle” and seeing Cookie the cat around the property. It was a great start to our France trip, with good value for money and a convenient location.

The property is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm, with thoughtful attention to detail. The owners are kind, passionate, and always willing to help. From the minute we arrived, the welcome felt warm and genuine. It’s a wonderful place to unwind, enjoy nature, and feel at home. We’ll definitely return. 🌿✨

Neshide and Defne took care of my personal needs, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Château de Courtebotte made a lovely peaceful base for enjoying the countryside and vineyards. The hosts welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home, and their enthusiasm for the region came through. The beautifully restored 17th-century chateau has tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. Waking to wide views of the Dordogne and the surrounding vineyards was a highlight. We enjoyed walks through the landscape and wine tasting at local vineyards, and the location also makes it easy to explore Saint-Émilion, Pomerol, Médoc, and Sauternes. A charming retreat if you want to get away from the bustle.

We had an amazing week at the Chateau. Ayse was such a welcoming host, and the rooms and setting were beautiful. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious, and the children spent hours playing and swimming. We hope to come back!
