Malis Castéra Le petit château

We felt like we were staying with family. Olivier and Nathalie were wonderful hosts, and we appreciated their suggestions for nearby activities and scenic drives. The hotel is beautiful, with comfortable rooms decorated with great taste. The table d'hôtes dinners were phenomenal, paired with excellent wines from the region. It was so restful and peaceful that we can’t wait to return for a longer stay. Very highly recommended!

The views from the bed were breathtaking, and the quiet surroundings made the stay feel restful. The room was incredibly clean, with comfortable luxury linens, and the bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. The charming old building has been updated in a stylish way. Staff were available whenever needed. Breakfast was incredible: the cook is a chocolatier and used to run a bakery, and she hand-picked all the fruit and vegetables. This has been my favorite hotel so far, and I’ll be back.

Breakfast by the roaring fire in the lovely glassed-in downstairs room was especially charming on a crisp fall morning. Bobby, the resident basset hound, was a bonus. Malis Castera feels like a special escape from the world, with the chateau lovingly restored in impeccable taste. The whole home smells of the wonderful chocolate Natalie makes and sells, and Natalie and Olivier are wonderful hosts. We can’t wait to return!

Nathalie and Olivier were both wonderful hosts, and we had a delightful stay. Our room was very spacious and faced the river, so it was peaceful and quiet. The house has been renovated with impeccable taste. Breakfast was superb, with fresh goodies baked every morning, and we stayed for dinner twice. The food was superb both times.
