Hotel Ohartzia

The rooms were clean and practical, and breakfast was very good. It’s also in a very good spot near the sea.

The courtyard garden is the real charm of this quiet hotel, a peaceful place right in the heart of St. Jean. This was our second stay, and the owners and staff welcomed us very warmly. Breakfast was generous, with local products and attentive service, and was served in the lounge overlooking the garden. It was too hot and humid to eat outside. For a three-star hotel just 30 meters from the beach in September, the nightly price was very reasonable. Thank you, we’ll be back!

The garden is beautiful, a peaceful place to spend time, especially over the delicious breakfast. The decor is refined, and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The welcome was warm and attentive, and the location, right by the beach, is ideal. Everything was perfect.

During our travels in the Basque Country, we happened upon this charming family-run hotel and stayed for two nights. The family welcomed us with great kindness and simplicity. Our quiet, welcoming room overlooked a flower-filled garden, with morning sun streaming in. A few steps take you to the large beach, and the hotel is in the old town, but without its drawbacks.
