Being close to the beach is the property's best feature. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny, though, and the property is very old and badly needs a serious infusion of cash. The pool is too small for the number of guests, which makes the water aerobics pretty lame.

The two-bedroom apartment was dirty when we arrived, and after paying over €1000 for a 5 night stay, we were really disappointed with its cleanliness. We got in late, with reception closed, so we had to clean it ourselves. When we went to reception the next day, they sent cleaners to finish what we'd already done. The best they offered for such a terrible start to our holiday was a buffet meal worth about €60, I believe. The food was OK, but the service wasn't great either. The location is decent, right next to the beach, but I thought the holiday village was way overpriced and a complete disappointment. At checkout, we were told Belambra would cover the tax fee because of the dirty apartment issue. A few days later, they called and asked us to pay it ourselves. 🤷♂️ We definitely won't be back to a Belambra holiday village. 👎🏻

We booked a room the day before leaving and had no trouble doing that. We asked for a cheaper “forest view” room, but ended up facing the ocean. For the price, the room was pretty good, and the location is great, just a few hundred meters from the ocean. There's a heated outdoor pool, and dinner was great, with a high-quality all-you-can-eat buffet. It costs 20€ for adults and 10€ for children, and you need to book at reception. The staff were cheerful and helpful, especially the reception manager and the guy at the bar. There were lots of free activities, from group hiking to soft archery, so there was usually something going on. A few little things caused awkward moments. The person who checked us in didn't explain that we had to wear Belambra bracelets around the club or book dinner there. The bracelets are really hard to get off unless you cut them, so think before putting one on. We only found three or four usable power sockets, so bring a multisocket, and the bar could offer more snacks. The apartment bathroom was small and cramped. Still, it was a pleasant trip, and we'll probably come back in a few years.

The service was good, though the hotel could do with some freshening up.

Nice place, but check-in was a bit difficult.
