It was a nice, clean, quiet campsite, and the kids loved the pools. The beach is nearby, and there was plenty of animation. For us, the main downside was that almost all the guests were French, so the activities were in French and it was harder for the kids to find friends who spoke their language.

We had a fantastic week at L'Abri des Pins. The site was quiet and felt safe, and it was easy to reach local beaches and lots of cycle paths. The bungalow was comfortable and had everything we needed. There was plenty for the children to do, with a great pool here and full access to the one at the sister campsite across the road too. The road between them is very busy, though.

The pools were excellent, but I wouldn't return to this "holiday park". We had kids running around at night in what felt like gangs, often well past midnight, and staff and security wouldn't do anything. The bar was dark and the staff hard to approach. The toilet blocks were worn out, and they locked them after 11, reopening at 7:30 before closing straight away for an hour of cleaning. There was no dedicated chemical toilet disposal point, and the facilities weren't as described. The pitches are scattered, so if you're looking for a campsite, this isn't the place. I left with a bad taste in my mouth.

We had a lovely few days at Camping L'Abri des Pins. The staff were friendly and helpful, and all the facilities were excellent and very clean. I'd definitely consider coming back.
