Camping Le Bois Verdon

There are only about 60 pitches, and the facilities never felt busy. Plenty of sinks, toilets and showers were available. Some other reviews mentioned a lack of soap, but most sinks have dispensers, and you can find others nearby if one doesn’t. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and would recommend it to families wanting a smaller site with things to do. We were two adults and our daughters, aged eight and twelve, travelling with a trailer tent for eleven nights. The site was quiet and well maintained, with a covered pool and loungers both inside and out. The pool was clean and well looked after. There’s also a small playground, ping-pong tables and a pétanque area. The location is handy: Saint-Jean-De-Monts is about a 30 minute walk away, or a few minutes by bus. The stop is right outside and buses run every hour. There are a few restaurants and snack bars nearby, as well as Explorer Park, with horse riding and tree-top activities. A couple of busier roads run nearby, so you can hear traffic, mostly at night when it’s otherwise quiet, though it wasn’t very loud.
