The road has a rocky sill for 50 meters, so take it slowly, and the peace and quiet is well-earned. Once there, you get a beautiful view of the Causses and a very welcoming host. The extremely well-maintained house is quiet and works well for a couple with children or even two couples. Watch children on the stairs, as there may be no barriers, though that wasn’t a problem for us.

The access road can be hard to find, especially as you need to pass the neighbor's "picturesque" gated property 😉, and a small car might have some trouble getting through. Still, don’t let that put you off booking. The cottage is comfortable, quite well-equipped, and in a beautiful, peaceful region. We had a great holiday!

We’ve stayed here twice, most recently in winter, and with adequate heating it was just as comfortable as in summer. The access is unchanged, and the quieter region has its own charm. The last 100 meters to the house are a dirt and rocky track, but it’s driveable. Our Scenic II managed it without any problem. The peaceful, comfortable house is a great base for visiting the area, including Cirque de Navacelle, La couvertoirade, Roquefort, Millau, and the templar sites. Pets are allowed, and the enclosed courtyard may reassure some owners. It sleeps 6, or exceptionally 8, and has all the kitchen and cleaning equipment. There’s also a barbecue and a table under cover in the courtyard.

The access is a little tricky, but well worth it. The place is spotless, and the house amenities are top-notch. The host is lovely and recommended a great restaurant. So peaceful.
