We booked a room for about €100 while on pilgrimage, but after getting the keys we found what looked like several signs of bedbugs: tiny black dots on the blanket and a small insect shell. There was also hair all over an extra blanket beneath the main one. We went back and politely asked for a refund because we didn't want to stay. The receptionist refused, with a bit of an attitude, which was irritating. We left anyway and still hadn't received a refund at the time.

The staff were friendly, but the noise made it impossible to recommend if you need sleep. The window has single glazing and opens onto the pub terrace, and there was plenty of noise in the corridor too. We'd stayed here before and had a great experience then. It seems to have changed since the new ownership.

I stayed the night before setting off on my Camino. The location was great, but the room was very cold and I needed extra blankets. Breakfast service was disorganized and slow: after waiting half an hour, I still hadn't received the whole meal.

For a tourist hotel, it was decent enough. The service was all right, and the rooms were generally clean and decent too. There are better places in town, though.
