Les Coeurs d'Amants

The hosts were really kind and friendly, and gave us some good tips. We loved our stay.

Breakfast was a chance to try several local specialties, especially the cassava cakes. The garden and its stunning view were wonderful, and the house was comfortable. We spent three nights with Christine and Jean-Noel, who welcomed us warmly and were very kind. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely return if we vacationed on the island again.

The garden is amazing, they’ve clearly put a lot of work into it. Christine and Jean Noel gave us a lovely welcome, and the breakfast was delicious. The view was incredible, and the bedding was very comfortable. A couple of things to keep in mind: the place is very close to the street, so how quiet it is depends on the traffic. Also, there’s no air conditioning, and if you’re sensitive to light, it can be hard to get the room completely dark. You have to leave the bathroom window open to get some fresh air. Otherwise, it’s a very good place to stay. Thanks for your hospitality, and best of luck!

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the comforts we needed. From the heights of St. Joseph, there’s a breathtaking ocean view, and the pool is magnificent. You can also have dinner on the veranda in the evening. Breakfast was homemade, hearty, and delicious. We spent three nights at Les Cœurs d'Amants, and Christine and Noël were such kind, gracious hosts. A great place for exploring the wild south of the island.
