The hosts were especially friendly, and there’s plenty of green space and peace and quiet. Our cozy cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable. We’d definitely recommend it.

The beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean. It’s attached to the owners’ house and conveniently close to Beauval Zoo. There isn’t a washing machine in the cottage, though the owners let you use theirs. Not a big issue, just useful to know.

A peaceful place for a few days away, with vineyards and plenty of sights nearby, especially castles and the local zoo. Montrichard is about a five-minute drive away, and getting around is easy. The detached cottage has a kitchen and living room downstairs, with bedrooms upstairs looking out over a large garden guests can use. It has everything needed to feel at home. The owners live next door and are glad to help or suggest ways to make the most of the area. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable, excellent gite, with friendly, warm service. We found it perfectly placed for a few days visiting the Loire chateaux.
