Hotel le Pidanoux

I only stopped by the bar for coffee and a couple of beers, I didn't stay at the hotel. The other staff were helpful, and the male proprietor could sometimes be helpful too, but I found him miserable and felt he looked down on us a lot. I won't be visiting again.

We stopped for lunch at le Pinadoux while heading to Entrevaux. The food was delicious, colourful and full of flavour, with a really appetizing presentation. We ordered the bœuf bourguignon and the fiochetti with goat cheese. We sat outside on the other side of the restaurant, on a lovely sunny terrace, and the service was lovely too.

That terrible breakfast wasn't the only problem. Under the bed we found a dirty sock that looked like a winter sock, so the cleaning was terrible too. In our room, the furniture was very old and broken, and the Wi-Fi only worked for one person even though there were two of us. I spent one night at the hotel with my girlfriend on 03.07.2015, and was absolutely disappointed.

The entrance looks weird, but don't let it put you off. This place was unexpectedly very good, with friendly staff, tasty mussels, and good value for the price.
