After cycling 100 km to Contis plage, we found the local campsite shut and needed somewhere else to stay. We were lucky to find a room here, and the owner went out of her way to welcome us and make us comfortable. The room was practical and very comfortable, and breakfast was tasty, fresh and plentiful. We could lock our bikes safely in the shed. The little delicatessen shop run by the same owner also has some nice local wines and other things.

The landmark looks lovely, and it’s fun to go up for a different view of Contis. Downstairs, the shop sells Landais food, trinkets and tourist bits.

Elisabeth definitely needs to work on her service. She doesn’t seem to know how to greet people or speak to them kindly.

We slept really well here after a busy day. The room was quiet, spotless and very comfortable, with a good bed, and the service was high quality. From arrival, we received a warm, attentive welcome, and they even made sure our bikes were looked after in a designated safe area, which was a real plus. Thanks so much for making us feel welcome. We’d happily come back!
