The house had everything we needed, and then some. We spent a really relaxed holiday there, with a lovely pool that wasn’t cold. You can barbecue whenever you like, even in the rain. There’s plenty to see nearby, and the owners are happy to share ideas for things to do. They’re warm and thoughtful people. We’d gladly come back for sure.

We felt at home right away thanks to the very friendly hostess, and the warm welcome set the tone for a lovely stay. The cottages were spotless and had everything we needed. It’s easy to properly unwind at gites de la melautais, and the pool was lovely too. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return.

The pool is lovely whatever the weather, and the cottages have real charm in the Breton countryside near Dinan. There can be a smell from agricultural spreading, which may bother anyone with a sensitive nose. One thing to sort out before booking is the final payment: the owner accepts only a small portion in holiday vouchers, so discuss that in advance.

We were close to everything while still right in the countryside, and the gîte’s pool was a real treat for kids and adults alike. The welcome made the stay especially memorable. Our host was incredibly kind and greeted us with cider and crêpes, and we even shared some lovely evening drinks. Thanks, Jocelyne and Alain. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
