Hôtel Mercure de Saint-Lary

The food was delicious, and the staff were very helpful. We had an excellent stay at the Mercure and found it comfortable inside. We'll definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and lovely, breakfast was great, and we liked using the spa. The staff were all pleasant, friendly, helpful and cheerful. Our balcony view was lovely, and the location was very good. We were lucky to see cyclists coming through the car park as they continued their triathlon. At dinner, our steaks were perfect, though the carrottes veloute was a real letdown. I'd love to visit in winter and sit by the cosy fire in the lounge.

The reception team were really nice, friendly and efficient, and our room was great, with a comfy bed and a coffee machine I was happy to find. Dinner, the Mountain winter Buffet, was excellent, with great quality and an outstanding idea, and the restaurant staff were super. The bar area by the fireplace was comfortable for watching the Rugby, and breakfast was a great buffet. The hotel is so close to the Telecabins, handy for an early ski start. Thanks to the staff for a super stay.

We booked at fairly short notice for our wedding anniversary and were really impressed. Nicolas looked after us at both check in and check out, and clearly has a real passion for the hotel business. He was warm and friendly. Our room was very comfortable, with an incredible view over the town and mountains and a lovely balcony full of real pelargoniums. The food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant was very family friendly. We had dinner and breakfast there. The continental breakfast had loads of choice, very good for what it is, even if it can't compete with a full English 😂. We could cook eggs in little frying pans and squeeze our own orange juice, lovely touches. The bar was excellent and comfortable, with games and things for children and adults, including ping-pong, scrabble and a grand piano. The cable car is very close, and the town is lovely to wander around. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone 😊. Thanks for the little cadeau for our anniversary too, and Merci à Nicolas.
