Rental Apartment Bel Aure III - Saint-Lary-Soulan

The free shuttle stop for the cable car and gondola is right beside the building, which is handy. Our apartment also came with convenient parking. There was no place to store skis, though, and the building gets no sunlight.

I booked Bel Aure apartment no. 3, number 3204, at Mrs. Irazoqui's through the Saint Lary tourist office in February, for July 18 to July 25, 2020. I was disappointed with the place. There was hair in the shower, and what looked like sheep's hair on the table. The garage was so narrow it was impossible to park a car, and there were mattresses in it. A shelf in the toilet had fallen because the items on it were too heavy. There wasn't a pan for cooking meat. I wouldn't recommend this apartment. Airbnb seems more reliable for booking.

The apartment was pleasant and had everything we needed, though a bigger TV would have been nice if I'm being picky. The village is quiet and close to shops. The shared areas are a little dated, but clean.

We stayed in apartment #2004, Belaure 2. It has a big outdoor terrace, plus a cellar and ski locker. For two people, it was especially handy to unload the car straight from the terrace. The city center is just a two-minute walk away.
