The area around the apartments is astonishing, with hiking routes and interesting spots nearby, including Rioumajou and Lac du L'Oule. The location also works well for the village center, cable car, and other facilities. Staff were helpful and went the extra mile, especially during the Tour de France stage. The apartments are okay, but a bit dated and not finished very nicely. Parking can be tricky because of the poles and some very narrow spaces, so ask if your spot can be changed.

The view is great, and the room was comfortable and pretty cheap. The service, though, is awful. Reception is closed most of the time, and there’s no luggage room for bags when you have to leave your room in the morning but your train or bus isn’t until later.

The apartments are good, but the service is poor. You have to make the beds yourself when you arrive, and you need to get there during one of four specific hours each day or wait for them. Cleaning isn’t included when you leave. There’s no free internet access, which seems typical in France, and the paid connection is very expensive and allows only a limited number of connections.
